Your Zoom connection is very secure. Zoom operates state-of-the-art wireless equipment that support encryption and are produced by leading Wimax specialist Alvarion. The device authenticates using secured certificates which is embedded in the Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) and Base Station.
How can I use my Zoom connection in more than one place?
Zoom keeps you mobile, so you can connect to the Internet at different locations. If you move location, inform us of your new location and we will configure your CPE equipment to allow connection to the nearest base station.
How does Zoom connect wirelessly?
Zoom uses the latest wireless technology to transmit signals to and from your modem on fully licensed and protected frequencies. Your connection is always on and always secure.
What factors could impact my ability to receive Zoom signals?
You must be within the Zoom service or coverage area to receive a signal. It is possible to be within the coverage area but not be able to receive a signal due to unusual geography or unexpected circumstances. If you are unable to receive signals within the coverage area, please report the location to customer support.
